Where is Ancora Shopping Center?
The Ancora Shopping Center in Arguineguin is home to several very popular bars and restaurants with live music which are very popular after market day on Tuesdays. It’s located on the main road of Avenida Francisco Navarro Navarro and can be seen from the entrance to Arguineguin from Puerto Rico. If you are at the whale’s tale roundabout just look up you can’t miss it.

Fruteria Peñate is a well established fruit and vegetables shop near the main entrance to the Ancora Center, where you can buy fresh Gran Canaria produce at a really good price.
At the Ancora Center you can also find services such as hairdressers, real estate, Coquidu dog groomers and language school Escuela Talk which offers courses in English, Spanish and Norwegian.
You can also find beach essentials at Bazar Yousef souvenir shop like towels, sandals and dresses along with cardigans for those cooler evenings.
Things to do Near Ancora Shopping Center
The Ancora center connects to the other side of the main road with a blue bridge, from there you can reach the promenade which connects Costa Alegre beach and Las Marañuelas beach along with more bars and restaurants.
