09:30am Walk
It’s been some time since we posted an Arguineguin walk so you are in for a treat. Today it’s the start of a new month and what better way to start it than with a nice beach walk in Arguineguin.
The nicest way down from Loma Dos is through Calle Princesa Guayarmina. It’s a street with 3 restaurants, Mercadito, Los Canarios I and La Rucola Italian restaurant. This road starts with a hill and then flat towards the Ancora Center. There are plenty of trees for shade and you can even see Dorado Beach Hotel from there.
The last few days of the Summer holidays are here and people enjoy a morning jog or walk towards the sea. Some are driving to work as they go back after August holidays and others are heading to the beach.
As we arrived at Costa Alegre Beach, we decided to do a surprise Facebook live video to show you how lovely it looked at that moment. Incase you missed it, we uploaded the video to YouTube so you can watch it again. Facebook stole some of the quality but you can still enjoy the tour from the lookout point all the way to Playa la Carrera the pebble beach at Sunwing.
As it was still early, there were only a few people setting up for their day at the beach but if you check the video you will see plenty of people around the swimming pool at Dorado Beach, which is where we end our tour.
We hope you enjoyed seeing Arguineguin on the 1st September, as we head into a new season with beautiful Autumn weather. Sunrise is currently at 07:42am and sunset is 20:23pm so you have many hours to spend at the beach, have a meal with a view or go on walks.
