It may surprise you that there is more than one market in Arguineguin, which is great if you are looking for a bargain, local produce or handcrafts. Markets tend to start from 8-9am and are packing up by 1-2pm so make sure to arrive early.
Arguineguin Market – Every Tuesday
The main Arguineguin market is on every Tuesday throughout the year. It is held at the Plaza Negra and you can pick up local produce, flowers clothing and handcrafts from the many market stalls. This is the perfect time to have a nice walk around the village, enjoy an ice cream at nearby Palacio del Sabor or Spar Express and take in the sights.
Ancora Center Market – Every Thursday
The Thursday market is a small market around the Ancora Center where you can purchase strawberries, bras, bags and clothing. Sometimes there are only a few stalls so it doesn’t really attract the crowds but it’s worth a look if you are walking past.
Flea Market – Saturday
Every Saturday in the Plaza Negra you can find the flea market or second hand market of Arguineguin. You never know what you may find here, as there is always something different.
